Kanga Farm Equipment is a first generation family business built on strongly held values of loyalty, honesty and integrity. It began manufacturing quality agricultural machinery in 1982 in a small factory in Healy Road, Dandenong, Victoria.

When it commenced operations, Kanga offered a hand-full of Victorian based dealers a small range of 3-point linkage implements. But by producing quality products and treating dealers as integral stakeholders with essential and well-established links with potential customers, the company soon outgrew the small factory in Healy Road.

A new factory was required, and in 1987 the company moved into large premises in Capital Drive, Dandenong approximately 1500 metres from the original factory.

In 1989 with most of the country in drought, increased competition in the market place and adverse business environment, several key personnel saw an opportunity to diversify and strengthen at a time when much of the agricultural industry was suffering.

Kanga continued manufacturing in Capital Drive expanding into Vineyard and Orchard Equipment, as well as a range of 3-point linkage equipment to suit the small compact tractors. By 1998 the company had really started to gain momentum and once again required more space, so a move was made into larger premises at the current location, 16 Cahill Street, Dandenong.

Kanga Farm Equipment now manufactures over 100 products to suit tractors between 12-150hp (horsepower), that can be purchased through any one of it’s 200+ dealers Australia wide.
