Kubota
Tractor Corp. (KTC) created the sub-compact niche market with the BX
Series, giving consumers compact tractor features with the operator
comfort and user friendliness of a lawn and garden tractor. The BX Series
has been a renowned success. Kubota now introduces the second generation
of BX models. The BX1850 and BX2350 have upgraded features and a more
modern design and are equipped with new, more powerful Kubota diesel,
three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engines with 18 or 22 hp.
The two-speed Kubota exclusive HST has been specifically tailored to
smoothly handle a wide range of applications and speeds. The HST is
operated with a single pedal control, allowing the operators hands
free to steer and work implements. New features include cruise control
to maintain continuous speed, especially helpful when mowing large areas.
Standard rear and mid PTO with a hydraulic live independent clutch is
easily operated with a single lever. Both models can operate in 2WD
or 4WD.
Operator friendliness and comfort were high priorities when designing
these models. Hydrostatic power steering makes steering practically
effortless, especially in tight spaces. An illuminated, easy-to-read
panel makes monitoring engine conditions easy while working implements.
The new high back seat features lumbar support for optimal operator
comfort.
Maintenance is easier than ever before with a redesigned easy open
hood. The new wrap-around front-end design gives a sleek, modern look,
and illuminates the operators view by encasing the headlights.
A full flat open deck provides plenty of legroom and the rubber-mounted
engine reduces vibration and noise. Both models come standard with a
ROPS and retractable seatbelt.
A category I, 3-point hitch allows for a variety of rear implements
to get any job done. A large, durable front loader has an easy attach/detach
feature that requires no tools. For front mounted implements, an optional
four-position valve is available and remains with the tractor. This
is very helpful when changing front implements. The standard three-position
valve remains with the loader. Controlled with a single lever joystick
with a series circuit makes dumping fast and easy. A single cylinder
in the buckets center enhances balance and strength.
Mid-mount mowers are available in 54 and 60 cutting widths.
For easy travel in large areas, the operator can raise the mower up
to a high ground clearance of six inches. A conveniently located mowing
height adjustment dial controls mowing height in half inch increments
from one- to four-inches.
Kubota Tractor Corporation markets a complete line of tractors up to
99.5 PTO horsepower, along with a line of performance-matched implements,
utility vehicles, construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden equipment
and commercial turf products.
