Kubota’s L Series compact tractors have been setting new standards since their introduction to the United States in 1968. There are two distinct L Series lines – the full featured Grand L30 Series and the economical Standard L Series. The L2800 and L3400 are the most recent additions to that standard line, but they sport impressive features that are anything but standard. A new, more powerful engine, versatile mechanical shuttle-shift transmission and a highly functional heavy duty front loader allow these tractors to offer optimal performance at affordable prices.

Powered by Kubota’s E-TVCS vertical, liquid cooled, three-cylinder, diesel engine, these models rate at 24 and 29 PTO hp, respectively. Available in either 2WD or 4WD, operators can match their working conditions to the right tractor. The transmission is a sliding gear and constant mesh system with eight forward/four reverse speeds, enabling you to select the perfect speed for higher productivity. Rear differential lock is standard and mechanical wet-type brakes ensure a longer life and reliable braking. To reduce fatigue, integral power steering is another upgrade feature which is standard on both models.

The L3400 is equipped with rear live, continuous running PTO and both models have a category I, 3-point hitch for rear implements. The range shift and PTO levers have been repositioned for easier mounting and dismounting. A new performance-matched heavy duty front loader offers increased lift capacity and higher lift height. A single lever joystick provides easy and efficient operation of the loader. The front loader has a quick attach/detach system that helps save time with a no tools required design.

A large capacity fuel tank holding 9.2 gallons, allows operators to work longer between refueling. The one-piece full-open hood design makes routine maintenance easier and faster than ever before. Depending on the application, the L2800 and L3400 come with a choice of ag, turf or R4 industrial tires.

The semi-flat deck was redesigned for maximum legroom and increased operator comfort. Levers and controls are ergonomically positioned and conveniently located. The muffler is now concealed under the hood increasing visibility and enhancing loader operations. Both models come with a choice of foldable or rigid ROPS and a retractable seatbelt.
